This year the Third Edition of AGF Poland will take place on 15th and 16th November in the Palace of Culture and Science of Warsaw, Poland.

AGF Poland is a monographic fair by the Fruit and Vegetable Sector. There will be producers, processors, importers, traders, wholesalers and representatives from supermarkets from the host country (Piotr i Pawet) as well as European ones (Tesco, Sainsbury’s…) taking part in this event.

Exhibitors from 11 countries, such as Poland, Holland, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Spain, Brazil and Columbia, participated in previos editions. And it was visited by, among others, delegations of dealers from Holland, the Ukraine, Hungary and Russia.

Since joining the E.U. Poland has become a strategic country for the fruit and vegetable trade, owing not only to its geographical position, which makes it a bridge towards other Eastern European countries (Ukraine, Belorussia…), but also as a buyer in its own right, attending to its own demographic potential as the largest of all the countries that joined last May 1st, as well as having a rapid economic development. Not in vain, a large number of Spanish, Dutch, French firms… have opened branches since then in this country.
