Sorma presents the new CBR 170

On the 17th April, to coincide with the celebration of EuroagroFruits, Sorma Ibérica unveiled its new CBR 170 machine in its own plant.

The event was attended by a large group of vendors and packers from the potato sector as well as important representatives from citrus companies.

The new machine, which minimises the presence of operators, can handle the entire cycle and consists of a packing machine that can create any format ranging from vertbag to girsac and others in all sizes. Another innovation is a packing machine that puts handles on the packet, a product that is increasingly in demand in large supermarkets.

The first company to use this new machinery will be the Basque cooperative Udapa, which is hoping to begin the region’s new potato season employing this technology.
