“Torres, more than oranges”

A new philosophy, which widens its range towards more products, is taking over all the Naranjas Torres stalls in Mercabarna.

 

The new philosophy is accompanied by a deep aesthetic revamp of the three sales outlets in the wholesale market. María José Sala Torres, the sales manager, explains that “the new suggestive decors will always contribute a message to the client. We will do shop window design just like in a conventional shop. We believe that in these times of economic uncertainty, the important thing is to reinvent oneself. Crises, in the long term, have always helped to bring this about.”
Every two months, Naranjas Torres (Torres Oranges) will modify its sales scenario. The first new décor was revealed at Christmas and now, several months later, the one where a cosmic world is predominant, has arrived. Under the slogan “Discover planet Torres”, clients are invited to enter a new world and discover the flavours of another galaxy, which corresponds to the flavours of the new brands that the firm is already commercialising.

 

 

Since the first of January, Naranjas Torres has been one of the new panellists of the excellent Del Monte pineapple. In the same line, the firm is commercialising the Pink Lady apple, the Fashion watermelon, etc., insignias that are recognised for their quality. “We have always considered ourselves as a brand company and now we are claiming this brand plus for other products such as some vegetables, among which our artichoke and the Torres iceberg lettuce stand out”, Sala points out.
