- Valencia, industrycapital at AECOC’s 10th Conference

Valencia was once again the meeting point for the Spanish fruit and vegetable industry on the 26th and 27th June. The conference was marked by the European Cup semi finals and the first ever Aecoc Awards for Innovation.

- Amberes hosts Fresh 2008

For three days, Amberes was the European capital of the agribusiness debate. The annual Fresh 2008 conference held from 21 to 23 May played host to over 200 delegates from all over the world.

To relaunch its brassica range, the Dutch firm Rijk Zwaan has declared 2008 “Brassica Year”.

Last month at its El Maresme research centre, the seed company Semillas Fitó presented its new products under the “El Huerto de Claudio” brand.
